My first role from university was in real estate.
What is one thing you would have done differently?
I would have learnt to set boundaries earlier. Setting clear non-negotiables with my staff and therefore raising the bar on my expectations. I let people get away with too much because I wanted to keep them happy.
What is one thing that changed over the course of your career?
Social media has been the biggest change. How I can impact my business and profile by using social media well.
What is your uniques story in just 3-4 sentences?
I set up my own recruitment firm 8 years ago, selling the business to a larger company at the end of 2017. I am now building out the US business for the company, with a big target of $50 million in 5 years. It was challenging to be young, and female, in this industry, to be taken seriously by industry peers. I have built a strong profile within the industry, in 2 countries, as well as a successful business.
