Put your achievements outside of work on your profile. Speaking engagements, published articles, a link to your blog or twitter. These things allow me, as a recruiter, to build a picture of who you are and your passions. It helps you stand out and makes you seem approachable. It helps me, and ultimately hiring managers, build rapport with you quickly and therefore, get you a better job.
