The biggest lesson I learned in business

Not to worry about what people think or say about you.

When you run a business, it is inevitable that you will have a supplier, or ex-employee, that doesn’t agree with how you do things. Often, they won’t have the full picture and you may not be able to give it to them. Staff members may get annoyed with someone who seems to get preferential treatment, when they don’t know the full story and you need to keep confidential, issues that are leading to your decisions. Being able to let this criticism go, is crucial to letting you carry on and make the right decisions for your business. It is your money on the line, so you are the only one that has to be happy with your decisions.
