Make it very easy to apply and make it mobile friendly. Many career pages have lots of information but you have to click through 5 or 6 pages, to start a lengthy application process. I have designed career pages for 2 companies, as well as BeecherMadden and they key success rate is letting candidates apply within 2 clicks. The majority of BeecherMadden’s applications now come from a mobile phone and it is so easy for our candidates to apply from a mobile; I know we are beating our competition on this.
