Technical job interviews might not just focus on your technical skills and experience. Be prepared to answer or ask, questions that focus on other skills too.
One of my top questions is “how have you built relationships with your business stakeholders?”
The candidates who get paid the most, are those who can translate technical issues to the business, and back again. Knowing how someone has built relationships enabling them to do this, tells me if they are suitable for some of the top paying jobs.
